General music is offered in grades 6 and 7. In music class, the students will be exploring music styles and culture, reading and composing melodies and rhythms using FINALE, singing and performing on a variety of instruments. All students will be performing on piano with the sixth graders focusing on basic piano skills and the seventh graders focusing on the 12 Bar Blues progression.
